Announcement - Protect Yourself From Job Scams

Social media, which has seen a dramatic increase in its adoption in recent years, has become an instrument of choice for bad actors to commit fraud. Job scams are among the most common types of fraud, and our entity name, PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (“Prodia”), has also been regularly used as a disguise for their illegal activity. For that reason, it is imperative for you to proceed with caution when responding or acting on a piece of information about possible job opportunities. The following are some of the most common signs of a job scam impersonating Prodia.

1. The recruiter is asking for some payment to be made as a requirement for the job.

2. The recruiter is using an email address with a domain name that is not the official domain name of Prodia.

3. The recruiter is giving you information that is neither accurate nor in line with the official recruitment procedure of Prodia.

4. The recruiter is conducting a hasty recruitment process and offering you job opportunities without interviews or adequate selection steps.
